Hockey Music: Highly Unlikely by MC Five Hole

Hockey Music:
Highly Unlikely by MC Five Hole

Here’s the fourth pick-up I found from hockeygods.com. It is, again, the lyrically talented MC Five Hole, and the song is called “Highly Unlikely”. It’s done to the tune of Engrique Iglesias’ “I Like It” and drops some pretty funny lyrical prose about teams that don’t have a chance at winning the Cup and the fans that support them.

Among the highlight lines:

“You think they’ll win the Cup now that they got Kovalchuk (Highly Unlikely!)”

“Girl please excuse me but your team is kind of great, that is if you’re willing to wait until 2028.”

“They’ll be first in last place.”

“It’s like you just hit the post.”

“I am a VC boy, that’s how I roll. My team be rocking up the waves. Two words for you ‘Swedish Twins’. We be streaking. And we be peaking. It’s the Stanley Cup that we be seeking. Last time you won, we was on vinyls. I’ll see you in the finals. (Highly unlikely!)"
Among the teams that received the wrath of the 5 hole – New York Islanders, Ottawa Senators, New Jersey Devils and the Toronto Maple Leafs. Oh, and homage is paid to a part of Enrique’s body that was certainly very noticeable in the original music video.

Enjoy “Highly Unlikely”:

Sing. Dance. Play hockey!
