Great Hockey Goal: Martin St. Louis _ Hockey News: Fan Attacks Coach

This week’s goal of the week goes to Martin St. Louis of the Tampa Bay Lighting who almost-too-easily breaks through the Carolina Hurricanes’ defense to score a nifty overtime goal.

G’head and chalk this one up on St. Louis’ already long list of highlight-reel goals. Nice job man!

In other news, across the pond in Stockholm, Sweden, the fans there take overtime a losses a bit more, how do you say, seriously . . .

Check out this clip below. It comes from a game between rivals AIK and Sodertalje. Yannick Lehoux of Sodertalje scores the game-winning goal and then proceeds to mock the crowd by telling them to “hush”. One fan, who looks a little inhebriated, to say the least, gets so angry that he actually hops the glass and attacks Sodertalje’s coaching staff (albeit, calling a slight push an “attack” in the hockey world might be a bit overboard). Anyway, you be the judge. And be sure to watch beyond his attacking the coaching staff for a WWE slam by one of the 4 bald-headed, 300-pound security guards (quadruplets???)

  1. Beauty goal by st.Louis, protects the puck, dangles, and snipes! If all the players on TB could click at once they would have a deadly offense.

Good find on the swedish hockey video as well, some crazy fans there!
